오래된 + -거든요 | [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

Today is a rare Friday post! After my late start for this week, I decided to go ahead and post today as well. So after yesterday’s attempt at a scenario, I decided to end this week with a regular example. Today’s lesson will be pretty short but I’m introducing two new vocabulary words.

Let’s get started!

버리다 (beorida) | “to throw away; to no longer have in (one’s) possession”

오래된 (olaedoen) | “antique; old; worn”

  • “그것은 오래되었거든. 나 그거 버렸어.” | “It was old. I threw it away.” or “(Because…) it was old, I threw it away.”

Alright so that’s it for this week. Time to research something new for next week!
