오다 (O-da) vs 가다 (greetings)| [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

This is the one you probably hear very frequently. We’ve talked about this before in the past as well. This one is a little harder to do an activity with. So I’ll just do the usual word and examples. I’ll be combining the activity for 가다 with this one.

오다 | “to come” [determined by the location of the speaker]

  • i.e.,
    • 나 그 영화를 보러왔다. (na geu yeonghwaleul boleowassda.)
      • “I came to see the movie.”
    • 그가 올거야? (geuga olgeoya?)
      • Is he coming?

Alright so that’s it for today! Activity tomorrow!
