어느 + Wants | [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

I decided to throw in something new and yet familiar all at the same time! I won’t talk much today after yesterday’s post so let’s just get started!

어느

Meaning:

  • used in determining “which” one something is
  • “which”

i.e.,

  • 어느 책을 원하니? (eoneu chaeg-eul wonhani?) | “Which book do you want?”
  • 어느 의자를 움직이고 싶니? (eoneu uijaleul umjig-igo sipni?) | “Which chair do you want to move?”

I’m going to flag this point for later because I’m sure someone out there will have questions about why I used two different ways to say “want”. In short, one is requiring a noun (책을 | book) and the other is requiring a verb (움직이고 | moving something) . I’ll explain that another time… (unless perhaps we’ve already discussed this. I don’t recall!)

That’s it for today!
