I’m sensing an unintentional theme this week of words using the negative ending -jima. But since we’re sticking solely to WOTD, I guess it would make sense to have some type of theme.
후회하지마 (huhoehajima) | “don’t regret it”
후회 (huhoe) means to regret something. 지마 (-jima) means, “don’t”.
If you’ve seen Jessi’s new music video, “Don’t Make Me Cry” featuring former bandmate J-yo, then you’ll know where the WOTD came from. There was a scene of dialogue where the only thing she said was this word as he turned to leave. I wanted to cover this word because I figured I wasn’t the only one who had to replay that one part over again to catch what she said.
That’s it for today!
