설거지 (seolgeoji) | [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

Alright so it’s Day 2 of intermediate sentences and honestly, this is way more useful  than I thought it would be. I won’t talk too much since this will be really quick and  short.

설거지 (seolgeoji) | “washing dishes”

i.e.,

  • 설거지해야 돼요. (seolgeojihaeya dwaeyo. ) | “I should wash the dishes.” or “I have to wash the dishes.”

Either translation is fine, what’s important here is context. The ending that we’re using just signifies that you mean this is a task that you “have to do/should do/must do”. Whichever translation you’re comfortable with using is fine. I haven’t seen anything that says differently.

Okay so that’s it for today!
