입다 (ipda) | [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

This week we are looking at the different ways to say that you are wearing something. And so we have reached the end of the week. We’ve talked about wearing shoes and wearing hats/headbands/etc. And now today’s focus is on 입다 (ipda).

Let’s get started!

입다 (ipda) | “to wear; to put on”

i.e.,

  • 그는 새 셔츠를 입었어요. (geuneun sae syeocheuleul ib-eoss-eoyo.) | “He wore a new shirt.”
  • 드레스 입을까요? (deuleseu ib-eulkkayo?) | “Would you wear the dress?”
  • 이들 청바지를 입고 를 원한다. (ideul cheongbajileul ibgo leul wonhanda.) | “I want to wear these jeans.”

Alright so that’s it for this week! Next week we will move to another Grammar topic.

See ya next time!
