I think it’s time to start using new words more frequently. So I searched for something I haven’t done yet and I found something that we all like… hugs! Or maybe you don’t. I hope you do. Okay moving along.
안다 (anda)| “to hug”
We are using the verb stem ending -기 for this one. With the verb stem ending added, it becomes 안기다 meaning, “to be hugged”.
Okay, so I worked really hard on the example this time so hopefully it makes sense.
- 아이는 엄마가 의해 안겨있다. (aineun eommaga uihae angyeoissda.) | The child was hugged by mom.
