So this lesson is not super complicated right? But, it can become a bit confusing. It’s not necessarily the word itself that makes this challenging, but it’s the Grammar principles behind it. Let’s look at an example today and hopefully make it a little easier.
말해된다 (malhaedoenda) | to be spoken/to be said
- 단어는 나에게 말했다되었다. (dan-eoneun na-ege malhaessdadoeeossda.) | “The words were said to me.”
I was going to include a way to do this with the suffixes -이/히/리/기 and -아/어/여지다 but I’ll have to show you that one later. It involves certain verb endings and I don’t think think 말하다 qualifies.
