생각하다 (saenggaghada) [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

So this week it’s back to verbs we go! Now this may be a repeat verb, I’m not sure, but it showed up again in my vocabulary review list and so I’ve decided to place it here as well. After the last couple of Grammar of the Week lessons, I want to incorporate that into the WOTD for a couple of days. It’ll make it a bit easier to stick it to memory.

Let’s get started!

생각하다 (saenggaghada) | “to think”

i.e.,

  • 그것은 생각하기 어렵습니다.. (geugeos-eun saeng-gag hagi eolyeobseubnida.) | “It’s difficult to think about it. “
  • 그렇게 생각? (geureohge saeng-gag?) | “You think so?”
So that was pretty simple right? For those of you who follow the Grammar of the Week as well, I hope the first example shows how easy it is to use (that lesson) in a practical application.
That’s it for today!
