피고해요 (pigonhaeyo) | [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요!

Today’s word is teachnically a word and a phrase. I think it’s good to not only learn new words but also add a phrase or two to your daily vocabulary studies. I chose this phrase because I have heard it a few times and thought that maybe a few of you may have been looking for it too.

피고해요 (pigonhaeyo) | “I’m tired.”

This word comes from the verb, “피고하다 (pigonhada)” which means, “to be tired”. It can be used, when conjugated from it’s verb form, to express how others are tired as well.

i.e.,

  • 아기가 피고해. (agiga pigonhae.) | “The baby is tired.”
So that’s it for today. Really short and easy right? I just hope this isn’t also a repost of a word.
