So I’m sure you probably already figured out what the word today means. It’s probably a dead give-away based on the spelling and if you’ve mastered how to properly pronounce hangul, then it’s no secret that you know.
블루 베리 (beullu beli) | “blue berry”
- 블루 베리 패치에 가자. (beullu beli paechie gaja.) | “Let’s go to the blue berry patch.” | (Verb usage)
a “patch” is like a nickname for “farm”. So a blueberry farm where you can go and pick wild and fresh blueberries could also be referred to as a blueberry patch depending on the vernacular in the area you live.
- 나는 블루 베리를 먹었요 때문에 배고픈 않는다. (naneun beullu belileul meog-eoss-eo ttaemun-e baegopeun anhneunda.) | “Because I ate the blueberries, I’m not hungry.” | (Therefore/because)
Just for weekend practice, “because/therefore” has returned.
That’s it for today! See ya next week!
