Activity | Korean Matching Game: Months of the Year [Grammar of the Week] + Word of the Day

안녕하세요!

Let’s start off with the Word of the Day! Really quick and it’s still with the theme of emotions.

The word today is: 기쁘다 ‎(gippeuda)  ‎(gippeuda) | “glad; happy with; content”

Example:

  • 내가 너는 만난 기뻐요. (naega neoneun mannan gippeoyo.) | “I’m glad I met you.”

After last week’s lesson, I think this week will be a lot of fun! I love matching games and I think they’re great for memorization and recognition which are two key aspects of learning a new language. There’s not going to be a real lesson this week because of the activity today.

Do you remember the Months of the Year? In this game, you’ll need to know them! On the left hand side, the months are in the correct order in English. But on the right, they’re mixed up in Hangul. Can you put them in the correct order?

Just like last time, match the letter to the correct number. Looks pretty easy right? You totally got this!
