Ok so I don’t really have a theme for the remainder of this week. I just have a couple of phrases that I wanted to discuss. I kinda feel like these are just typical phrases in a conversation. I did have a word or two but I made the mistake of not writing them down and I forgot them. They’ll come to me again I’m sure.
The phrase today is honestly one of my most favorite things to say in English when I’m talking to a friend, so it’s only natural that when I first began learning Korean it would be one of the things I’d want to learn how to say.
The phrase today is: “맞혀봐?” (maj-hyeo bwa?) = “Guess what?”
- “맞혀봐?” (maj-hyeo bwa)
- “어?” (eo)
- “나는 집을 샀어요!” (naneun jib-eul sass-eoyo) | “I bought a house!”
- “축하해요!” (chukhahaeyo) | “Congratulations!”
I don’t know if that’s how a real conversation might go… maybe, I don’t know but that’s just really the only example I can think of using the phrase.
