부끄러운 (bukkeuleoun) [Word of the Day]

안녕하세요! (Annyeonghaseyo!)

This is one of those words where I’m not sure if I’ve heard it before or not but I’ve seen it a couple of times. I’m almost positive there’s another word that’s used in everyday speech (k-drama language too) that means the same thing, but for the purpose of today I’m going to use this word since I can’t think of another one.

(Vocabulary List of the Week will be posted tomorrow!)

부끄러운 (bukkeuleoun) [adj]: “shame; shameful”

Examples:

  • 그녀는 정말 부끄러운. (geunyeoneun jeongmal bukkeuleoun.) = She is really shameful.
  • 부끄러운 상황 (bukkeuleoun sanghwang) = shameful situation

알았어, 그게다야! Alright, that’s it. For today at least.

-내일까지! (naeilkkaji!)
